That's just a very stupid way of thinking! Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, a side series game, is my favorite Pokémon game! Every time Pokémon is mentioned, people think about the Main Series with trainers. I'm sick and tired of people saying that side series Pokémon games are bad just because they're not main series. See, something that I want this game to do is honor the various side series Pokémon games that are always masked by the Main Series. I plan on incorporating elements from a lot of different Pokémon side series, such as Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and maybe even Pokémon Rumble, even though that series isn’t very good. This game will not feature elements from only the PokéPark games. (PowerTool and my installed patches do NOT cooperate all the time.) So the main player character will be the same playable Snivy from PokéPark 2 with her same moves and everything, if I can get them to work. This princess is NOT your typical damsel in distress like Princess Peach. So I thought to myself, “I’m going to make a sequel to this game where Snivy essentially steals Pikachu’s spotlight and goes on an adventure of her own.” (Yes, it’s a “her”. The character who I liked the most was Snivy. They are Pikachu, Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott. There are four playable characters, though. The main star of PokéPark 2 is, you guessed it, Pikachu. I tried to start development over the summer, but it hasn’t been going well. I’ve been thinking about a game concept for a PokéPark 2 sequel in the form of a Super Mario World hack for over a year, now. But PokéPark 2 was a pretty good game to me. That honor belongs to Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. PokéPark 2 is not my favorite Pokémon game, however. You can read about the gameplay (and about some of my modding attempts) here. This game is to be a direct sequel to the Wii game, PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond, featuring the same characters, the same world, and MUCH more. But recent events changed EVERYTHING! More on those recent events a little later.) I wanted to post MANY more screenshots, including the title screen image and logo, maybe some more VWF Dialogues stuff, and maybe even the game’s introduction with a Youtube video. When that time came, I wanted to show off like crazy. I intended to make this thread much later when the game was much later in development, when maybe when I had a bunch of custom graphics inserted, maybe when the player graphics and player physics were complete, maybe when I had a few levels completed, and maybe when I had the introduction completed, which, by the way, would be MUCH different than your typical Super Mario World introduction.
(Hey, wait! Oh, there’s no title screen image yet.
